    Appreciate the Little Things

    In the midst of this pandemic, surrounded with loss, bad news and negativity, it often becomes difficult to focus on the good things. However, it is during this time that focusing on the good and positives in our lives becomes even more essential. Here is a small task that can help you do just that

    All you must do is simply in a small journal write down one good thing from your day that you did for yourself or another person and how doing that made you feel. You don’t have to do anything out of the ordinary every day, but simply reflect on your deeds of the day and see how they made you feel.

    When we write in the journal, we are forced to look for the positives amongst all the negatives giving us something to fight for and look forward to every single day of our lives. These notes become our light at the end of the tunnel and help us remain motivated and keep a positive outlook towards life.

    So open up a small notebook (You can even use a notes app on your phone or computer, or even use a word document. But we suggest doing it the old fashioned way, with paper and pen)

    Write down just four things:


    What are the three things that you are grateful for today?

    Who are you glad to have been with at the time?

    How did it make you feel?

    Repeat every single day!
