Frequently asked questions about emotional well-being

Therapy can be beneficial for anyone who is experiencing a variety of things, from stress and anxiety to professional struggles, anger and mood problems, dissatisfaction in relationships, or simply if you want to understand yourself better.

If you visit our center or have an online session with one of our psychologists, things can become clearer, and you will know how therapy can benefit you.

A psychiatrist is a doctor who specializes in treating mental illness with medication. A psychologist is a professional who treats emotional and mental suffering through therapy.

Inspiron has both. We also have specialists who offer art, dance, and music therapy and other unique approaches to address a variety of needs.

One of our team members will guide you though an evaluation process and advise you on the best course of action.

You might feel confused, and under pressure to talk about specific things. But rest assured, your therapist will guide you through a process, and take the first few sessions to explore various aspects of your life, and work with you to uncover what you would like to work on. That is how you begin the process of healing.

Usually 8-12 sessions, but the duration can be shorter, depending on the things you want to work on and how you process these with your therapist.

Often, therapy is also a place to learn various psychological and emotional wellness skills that will stay with you for the rest of your life, long after you have overcome the challenges you are facing today.

The aim of therapy is to help you become independent, and the process teaches you the skills you can continue use on your own, to live a happier life, feeling more fulfilled every day. It is also a support system that is there when you need it.
